Águas do Sado is the concession-holder of the water supply and sanitation systems in the municipality of Setúbal.
The activity of Águas do Sado started in November 1997, after the concession agreement was signed as a result of the public international tender launched by the municipality of Setúbal to award the concession of the water supply and sanitation systems.
The concession agreement is for a period of 25 anos, during which time Águas do Sado is, on an exclusive basis, responsible for the management and maintenance of the collection, treatment and distribution of water for human consumption, and for the collection, treatment and disposal of domestic and industrial wastewater in the municipality of Setúbal.

TRATAVE

Concession-holder framework

Tratave was established in September 1998 for the operation and management of the municipal public drainage services, purification and final disposal of wastewater of the integrated clean-up system for the Ave Valley, in the form of a municipal concession.
The concession agreement was signed on 25 September 1998, on an exclusive basis for 25 years, for the operation and management of the intermunicipal drainage system, purification and final disposal of wastewater, called integrated clean-up system for the Ave Valley, which covers the municipalities of Guimarães, Santo Tirso, Famalicão, Trofa and Vizela. The infrastructures were assigned on 1 August 2000.

Águas da Figueira is the concession-holder of the water collection, treatment and distribution systems and of wastewater collection, transport and treatment in the municipality of Figueira da Foz.
The company’s activity started in March 1999, after the concession agreement was signed as a result of the public international tender launched by the municipality of Figueira da Foz, to award the concession of the water supply and sanitation systems.
The concession agreement is for a period of 30 years, during which time Águas da Figueira is, on an exclusive basis, responsible for the management and maintenance of the collection, treatment and distribution of water for human consumption, and for the wastewater collection, treatment and disposal in the municipality of Figueira da Foz.

ÁGUAS DE CASCAIS

Concession-holder framework

On 2 November 2000, a concession agreement was signed with the City Council of Cascais, for a period of 25 years, for the operation of the water supply and wastewater distribution systems in the municipality of Cascais.
The concession is for the operation and joint management of the municipal collection, treatment and distribution of water for human consumption, and for wastewater collection and disposal in the municipality of Cascais, including the construction, expansion, repair, renovation, maintenance and improvement of all facilities, infrastructures and equipment of the concession systems.
Later, as a result of the Amendments to the agreement, the concession period was extended by 5 years.

ÁGUAS DE CARRAZEDA

Águas de Carrazeda is the managing entity responsible for the operation and management of the public water distribution and wastewater drainage in the municipality of Carrazeda de Ansiães.
Águas de Carrazeda was established on 7 February 2001. On 22 May of the same year, the City Council of Carrazeda de Ansiães granted, in the form of a concession, for a period of 30 years, the joint operation of the public collection, treatment and distribution of water for human consumption and the wastewater collection, treatment and disposal in the municipality of Carrazeda de Ansiães. The concession came into force on 22 July 2001.

Águas de Gondomar is the concession-holder of the municipal water supply and wastewater drainage and treatment systems in the municipality of Gondomar.
The concession agreement is for a period of 30 anos, during which time Águas de Gondomar is, on an exclusive basis, responsible for the distribution of water for consumption and for wastewater collection, treatment and disposal in the municipality of Gondomar.

ÁGUAS DE ALENQUER

Concession-holder framework

Águas de Alenquer was established on 7 October 2003, to operate and jointly manage the public water supply and wastewater collection, treatment and disposal in the municipality of Alenquer, and to carry out the works necessary for the implementation of concession-holder’s investment plan.

On 17 November 2003, the concession agreement was signed with the municipality of Alenquer for the operation and management of the public water distribution and wastewater drainage systems in Alenquer. The concession came into force on 1 January 2004, and will run for 30 years.

The company started operating in June 2012 after the concession agreement was signed as a result of the public tender launched by the municipality of Votorantim for the concession of the water and supply and sanitation system, which attracted two consortia.

The concession agreement is for a period of 30 anos, during which time Águas de Votorantim is, on an exclusive basis, responsible for the management and maintenance of the collection, treatment and distribution of water for human consumption, and for the collection, treatment and disposal of domestic wastewater in the urban area of the municipality of Votorantim.

Águas de Mandaguahy is the concession-holder of the public municipal water production services in the city of Jahu, for which construction works were provided, in the municipality of Jahu, Brazil, in São Paulo State.

Águas de Mandaguahy started operating in December 1995 after the concession agreement was signed as a result of the public tender launched by the municipality of Jahu.

The concession agreement will terminate in July 2028, during which time Águas de Mandaguahy is, on an exclusive basis, responsible for the management and maintenance of a surface water collection system, 3 underground water collection systems, raw water pumping stations, a water treatment plant, the improvement of treated water, and three reservoirs for treated water.
